Security Officer Courses (SSO/VSO/CSO/PFSO)

Course Goals

Upon completion of HudsonTrident’s Company Security Officer (CSO), Ship Security Officer (SSO), Vessel Security Officer(VSO), and Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) training courses, the candidate will be able to:

Understand the requirements for a ship or port assessment
Initiate, direct and evaluate the ship or port security plan
Manage and monitor the ship or port security systems

Ensure that the proper training and evaluation is carried out for all personnel involved in security matters
Implement and maintain the security plan
Train, direct and motivate ship or port personnel involved in security

The one and a half-day SSO course and the two and a half-day CSO, VSO, and PFSO training courses cover the following modules:

Course Certification

Class facilities meet DNV Quality Standards System requirements. Participants are given an examination at the end of the session to confirm their thorough understanding of the course material.
